Puzzled?!

Assalamualaikum

Do you know what's worth fighting for?
When it's not worth dying for...
Does it take your breath away?
And you feel yourself suffocating...

Actually...what I'm gonna tell today is about us...as an explorer...a wanderer...a traveler...a scavenger...in this world...

But remember...that we are not alone...

We got God, right?

Back to the point...what we know is the wanderer get curious every time they wander and wonder...

And finally...poof...

I made a video!

"THE LOST GUARDIAN"

Actually...I'm gonna be honest...

That was actually my ICT Project Assignment for second semester 2012/2013 in my college...

This is what it is :

Description: In 1822, a tower has been built by a wealthy painter, Albrecht Durer, called Nilai Highland Tower. Many treasure scavengers had came to this tower and yet has not been found to this day. No one can solve the most complex riddle to get the hidden treasure. Three brave scavengers want to try out their luck.

P/S: Albrecht Durer was a real person. Just kind of random pick.

As I told you...we are all wanderers...even our planet...the word "planet" itself comes from the Greek word "planetes", which means wanderer...

Look around yourselves
Can't you see this wonder?
Spread in front of you
The clouds floating by
The skies are clear and blue
Planets in the orbits
The moon and the sun
Such perfect harmony

Let's start question in ourselves
Isn't this proof enough for us?

Verily! In the creation of the heavens and earth, and in the alternation of night and day, there are indeed signs for men of understanding.

And...back to the video...my inspiration for the code is Dan Brown especially...and a lot from my background...because I love magic!

Firstly...

"Life and Death"

Between life and death
There is a thin alcove
Between sigh and breath
A riddle to solve

"A lot of Roman numbers..."

This was supposed to be the "fill in the blank" concept of the puzzle. Another hint to differentiate between Arabic numbers and letters in the magic square.

"CARDBOARD"

This was meant to be the hint...CARD for card games(Spade as the clue) and BOARD for board games(Snakes and Ladders). Besides, this is a clever one! This leads to another clue:

Card will do for "magic" and board games are usually "square" in size! MAGIC SQUARE!

Yes...from there ideas from the Dan Brown came...which is MAGIC SQUARE!

This magic square which I take from the Albrecht Dürer's, Melencolia I

If you can't see what's under the bell in this painting, then...

Here it is! A magic square! Noticed that 1514 is the year of this painting. What's more..."1514" is also in this magic square!

And this is my version of magic square in the video:

I don't sure what should I call this...A magic square? A SuDoKu? A KenKen?

How about Magic Sudoku?

Haha...whatever...

Ok...what's more...there's a general formula for every magic square:

n is the number of row/column in the magic square...as in square the row number = the column number...you can choose one...The Albrecht Dürer's magic square got 4X4 magic square...so n=4:

It is equal to 34

So every row and column must has a sum of 34...

Here's the solution for the magic square:

A= 1, J=11, Q=12,K=13 [A(Ace), J(Jack), Q(Queen), K(King)]
Card Game!

Column:
16+5+9+4=34
3+10+6+15=34
2+11+7+14=34
13+8+12+1=34

Row:
16+3+2+13=34
5+10+11+8=34
9+6+7+12=34
4+15+14+1=34

Remember the CARDBOARD hint???
Again...another clue's there...
It's not just a double clue but a triple clue!!! 3 in 1 !!!

Do you know that actually spade is a symbol of what?

Let me tell you about every suite in a deck of cards:

Heart = Love
Clubs = Happiness
Diamond = Money
Spade = Death!!!

Remember the sign at the door?
But wait...isn't that too easy?

How about the "Snakes and Ladders" symbol?

"Let's take a peek at the staircase..."

Remember the magic square? It fits!

"GOCHOOSETHEDEATH"

"GO CHOOSE THE DEATH"

That's all how it was!

And The Lost Guardian is the one who is behind the mask!

The Lost Guardian = Sometimes we lost in guarding ourselves
Think about that!

Another one...from Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code:

"The prospect of death is strong motivation"

Assalamualaikum
